WHO WE ARE

Artists for Lebanon is a collective birthed from the ashes of the August 5th explosion that shook Lebanon’s capital, Beirut. An explosion so powerful, it has caused the city to remain under
rubble. With at least 220 deaths, 7,000 injured, and the displacement of 320,000 residents, there is an estimated $15-20 billion in property damage and has forced the entire government to resign.
This leaves many questions to go unanswered, voices to go unheard, and mouths to go unfed.

Artists for Lebanon is a digital conversation of free and unobstructed dialogue. This online forum is to bring awareness, solidarity, and hope to help Lebanon rebuild and its people heal.
Through the language of art, we will wake the international community. By involving notable museums and galleries, we’ll cut through the chaos for a stronger Beirut. We’ve collaborated with Lebanese artists to create a marketplace for making and selling art to raise various forms of
aid.

Artists for Lebanon will create an online forum and marketplace where artists can create and sell art for the purpose of raising funds to feed the hungry and homeless in Lebanon. We will also,
with the approval of the artist, print limited quantities of t-shirts and accessories to support the artists’ efforts to help Lebanon.
